POETRY & PROSE FROM ACROSS THE ATLANTIC

Join us on St. Crispin’s Day, October 25, 2019, for an informal evening of readings and recitations of poetry & prose passages from the works of the many great poets and writers from Ireland, Scotland and England.

This event is being co-sponsored by the Charitable Irish Society, the Scots’ Charitable Society of Boston and the British Society at the Boston Harbor Hotel on October 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person which includes hor d'oeuvres, crackers, cheese, fruit, wine, beer and other refreshments, but more importantly we will share our love for poetry and literature amongst friends and new acquaintances.

A special discounted rate of $5.00 is available for college students who present an ID.

Anyone wishing to share a favorite poem or prose passage is invited to participate.

A special invitation has also been extended to:

Ireland’s new Consul General to New England, Laoise Moore

British Consul General, Harriet Cross

British Vice Consul, Jacqueline Greenlaw

and to

Brian O’Donovan of WGBH

to join us.

We also look forward to having professors and students from
area colleges and universities join us as well.

We hope to see you on St. Crispin's Day
